 Shawn Muir Campbell better known as Shawn Storm is a Jamaican Reggae/Dancehall recording artist and record producer. In 2007, Shawn Storm was introduced to the music business by Adidja 'Vybz Kartel' Palmer, and later got his first hit single in 2008 titled Ghetto “Yutes Be Wise”; which gave him island-wide recognition. After this recognition he went on to work along side numerous talents in the music industry like producers Stephen 'Di Genius' McGregor and Notnice Records which propelled the singjay's career to a higher level. Recording Artist & Producer As the years went by Shawn Storm’s music career kept on elevating to different levels. This was seen in 2010 where after releasing numerous ear-catching music like ‘My Life” the Singjay was now noticed on the international scene. This song went #1 in several countries worldwide and on several radio stations in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom and Africa. It was on stations such as Hot 97 Boston and the Hot 97 New York playlist. In January 2011, “My Life” it went #1 in Jamaica holding the spot for 5 weeks on several radio major radio stations and local video charts. The song also led the Singjay to a couple of nominations for local awards such as; Most Determined Artist for 2010 and Best Reggae Song Of The Year. The awards shows that nominated was the Youth Views Awards (Y.V.A) and the Excellence in Music and Entertainment (EME) awards. Apart from that he has made an appearance on major shows such as Sting, Reggae Sumfest, and the RE:TV School Tour
